Btw, Jedi Lekit, I’m on your side, forums are public places, which mean you need to follow specific rules that everyone else must follow.

For example I work retail, while the store is open, it's a public access building, but as a customer, one is still expected to respect the businesses decision on how one should act/behave on the property.

The forum is similar, if the rules state you can't do it, you must respect and follow that guideline

Also humor is an effect of behavior, in regards to a previous post

I'd say there's another issue at hand here:

Irony, which appears to form the crux of your humor, doesn't translate at all through text.

I think on some level you know you're not following a rule by making it but then you take the route that it's not your fault, and are acting like the mods are out to get you, even as a joke.

Remember: ironically being anything still requires you act like it's true, and if you ironically claim the mods are out to get you for no reason... well especially online it just looks like you're whining that the mods are out to get you for no reason...

Which just gives them a reason to go after you.

I would say quit while you're ahead but you're very much not so really best advice is learn to actually follow rules, and don't claim everything is either a joke or just nested under, like, 3 layers of irony.

I wasn't lying in the first place, and I certainly didn't intend on breaking any rules. But about the irony not translating through text, you got a point.

It's alright to make jokes, but yeah some people can take offense to plenty of things, so it's just best to be cautious. It's just a thing that we have to deal with nowadays, unfortunately, but hey, Fandom has become a very big thing for me, I'm happy to be in constant communication with people who share the same passion as me, so I hope we all can come to the agreement of respect of the guidelines and accepting with mistakes, as humans, we all make mistakes
