I grew up with The Clone Wars so of course I think it’s good, I voted decent however on one little issue. For some reason it Counts as both Legends and Canon despite contradicting hundreds of old EU works. For myself and others TCW is solely Canon, perhaps the best of the Non movie Canon but Canon nonetheless.
Where's the option for "meh"? Some of it is really good, but most of it is trash.
Clone wars is amazing
Great, but definitely not perfect. If it were perfect, C3PO and R2D2 wouldn't have gone on a Wizard of Oz adventure followed by a Gulliver's Travels
@Duke of Scales Yeah, that episode was an odd one, for sure.
It's horrible my single most hated Star Wars show out to date I hate TCW with a burning passion.
You probably get this a lot, but why?^
^ Yeah I do get it often lol, anyway I hate the way it slaughtered so many characters like Anakin, Quinlin, Dooku, Grevious ect, then wrote itself into Legends and override so many comics and novels which had pre established lore for each character. I also get extremely bored at each episode and hate Ahsoka because she is used as Filoni's pet / self insert into Star Wars, she just steals things from other character's and gets placed everywhere and anywhere. I don't like how she is usually in no danger and won't die, and she has a stale character backstory and later story to me. I also loved the 2003 Clone Wars which was ultimately casted aside and ignored and hated by everyone until recent.
Quilan Vos aka the Jedi hippie, Aayla Secura is nothing but eye candy, Yaddle was ignored completely, Saesee Tim had a handful of lines of dialogue in the whole series, Ki Audi Mundi is a mere shell to what is in legends. Anyways Darth Malice makes a fair point about several characters being nobodies compared to their storylines in legends. After reading the republic legends comics I also realized that these characters could’ve been so much better in the clone wars tv series than they were. Yoda, Obi Wan, Mace Windu and Plo Koon are the only council members that are well written in the show.
The Clone Wars (2008) is perfect to me
Clone Wars (2003) undecided since I didn't see the show
What do you think?
