The prequels don’t need to be redone. Imo there’s no point in redoing the same movies with the same plot. It’s best to just focus on new content.

The Prequels and OT don't need to be redone they are perfect the way they are.

It's not a matter of the quality of the films; it's a matter of creative principle to stand by the works of art as they were originally made. That's why so many view the original trilogy's Special Editions as disingenuous to have replaced the original cuts.

If they redo any of the movies, I’m done with Star Wars. The last thing that would ever require a reboot is a story of a whole galaxy that has been largely untold to date.

The sequels need to be redone.

At least they’re better stories than the prequels, but that’s not what the post is about.
