I personally went with Ezra’s skills with a lightsaber because they deserved more credit. While obviously not a master swordsman, he was still capable fighter in his own right. After analyzing the fights Ezra took part in and the circumstances of his training, I personally believe he used Form I Shii-Cho, Form IV Ataru and Form III Soresu.
This is the kid who was able to hold his own against the Fifth Brother, the Eighth Brother and the Seventh Sister with and without Kanan’s help. During the Mission to Malachor, Ezra was able to put the Seventh Sister on her back foot before she was subdued by Maul (the Inquisitor even noted Ezra’s proficiency with a blade in their first meeting).
Perhaps most impressively, Ezra was also one of the very few Jedi to fight and survive an encounter with Darth Vader. Clearly, Vader was holding back and not fighting at his maximum capacity, but I still consider this a notable achievement despite the circumstances. Ezra also single-handedly defeated the Nightsister spirits when they possessed the bodies of Kanan and Sabine.
The only thing that held Bridger back as a swordsman was the fact that he was trained by a master whose own training was incomplete. If Ezra had a proper and more experienced teacher, he definitely would’ve become a great duelist.
