I think we are going to get the Thrawn trilogy in some form. I keep wondering if the Grysk are going to be Vong-like. I reckon we will get Luke having a family too and this may explain how broken he is in the ST. That's broadly what I'd do. Perhaps turn TROS into Leia did loads of acid. Have another go at that but make it more coherent with the rest of the trilogy.

Polls like this remind me of how much I love my head canon where the Thrawn trilogy and Dark Empire are my sequels.

^ Same here I don't have to worry about really anything, retcons, bad writing, character deaths, In your headcanon you can make your own Star Wars any way you desire.

^Indeed. I love doing my Star Wars reread/rewatch because it’s literally everything I love from legends and canon wrapped up into one. At this point there’s no point complaining over what could’ve been if the legends material were the sequels. Just because the sequel trilogy is what it is in Disney canon doesn’t mean everyone has to include it in their personal Star Wars watchlist.

I agree that it should’ve just been the Thrawn Trilogy. I also think I would be cool to just do anthogy movies instead of the Sequels.
