@Abby39 I can definitely see an argument for Fennec since it appears she was initially supposed to just be another Bounty for Mando. It seems like the writers like her and unfortunate contrived a way for her to live despite what happened, seems to be a theme these days, so I see your point.
I mean Din Dejaren has more air time... because he's the lead character in a show. However outside that, he's just been in 1 crossover.
Fennic on the other hand has been in everything from the Bad Batch, to Mandalorian, to Book of Boba Fett. So if your metric is appearance across different shows, then it's definitely her being more overused.
Mando has 1 unnecessary cameo, in BoBF.
Fennec could have theoretically been replaced in TBB, or could have stayed dead. So Fennec, I guess.
Honestly, I don't think either was overused. All of Fennec's appearances made sense. Din had one that should probably have been in Mando S3, but that was more of a problem with the show than the character being overused
Despite my complaints about his BOBF cameo, Din hasn’t breached the domain of overused and Fennec Shand, even less so. We haven’t even known these characters for 5 years yet so yeah neither. I’ll vote for Fennec though just because she has more cameos (and I love all of her cameos tbh).
Even though fennec has appeared in quite a bit, we still know almost nothing about her. I find it hard to say “overused” when all I know about her and her past is she’s a bounty hunter who started out young and is from the mid rim. Mando…maybe it’s just cause mando and Grogu are on every bag, shirt, action figure, jacket but….yeah, idk, getting kinda tired of him already. We also know quite a bit about him and his story, but that’s my two cents
Neither tbh, too early to ask this.
Din has his own show, and has only appeared outside of it once - I don't think that's too over-used.
We know next to nothing about Fennec, and she's only appeared as a supporting character in two shows & a cameo in one.
I think all of both Din & Fennecs appearances make sense and I don't see why they're overly over-used.
If I had to pick an overused mandoverse character, Grogu for sure. He should really only show up in Mando and I don't think his BOBF episode was needed at all. So probably him.
I guess The Mandalorian
Neither are overused.
