In the midst of finale hype for Obi-Wan Kenobi, we overlooked another big announcement from Lucasfilm, for the next Disney+ release—seriously, this is what's next on the docket before The Bad Batch and Andor.
The third modern LEGO Star Wars special, Summer Vacation, will release on Disney+ on August 5 of this year, per this trailer that released yesterday (the thumbnail won't display, but the link works).
There's also an article on StarWars.com noting a few of the cool things in the trailer.
Just like the Holiday Special and Terrifying Tales, the story has a main plot set after The Rise of Skywalker, with focus given to characters of the other trilogies as well.
The Lucasfilm Story Group always seems to have a healthy influence on these stories and how the eras tie together, and this time the main character looks to be Finn, whereas the previous specials focused on Rey and then Poe. I'm really excited for another story with these characters, since I liked the last two.
We also got Weird Al. Enough said. Leave your thoughts on the trailer below!
