What about the original Battlefronts by Pandemic games? As a choice between these two I'm kind of stuck, I liked the maps on battlefront one more, but battlefront 2 has the clone wars.
Original battlefront 2 would top both of these for the Galactic conquest mode and the rise of the Empire story.
