I could go on and on about how much this episode scarred me when I first watched it. Say what you will about Satine she didn’t deserve to be killed much less by a Sith Lord. Satine was the embodiment of innocence and she was also Obi Wan’s chance of a happier life after the war. Obi Wan never came out and said he loved her but the look in his eyes as she was dying in his arms says everything you need to know. To this day that scene is still one of the scenes that gets next to me every time I watch the episode.

Satine’s death is easily top 3 saddest moments in Clone Wars. Also RIP the Twilight.

@Crimson0482 by the way, does anyone know what actually happened to the twilight before the Maul/Death Watch Arc? since i don't recall anything happening to it

^I think she still saw action. Last time we saw her on screen was season 2, I think. When Cad Bane was working for Sidious and abducting children.

If things turned out differently, I could see Obi-wan and Satine settling down and living happily together in retirement. And if anything this episode just shows Obi-wan’s inner strength of character. I mean he lost his master, the love of his life, (both at Maul’s hand) and his apprentice and he never sought revenge or even hinted at a turn to the dark side.

^SPEAK 👏 ON 👏 IT 👏! Obi Wan lost two of the most important people in his life to Maul but he never let his emotions get the best of him even when Bo Katan tried to call him out on Satine’s death (she has no room to judge him imo but that’s a whole other conversation).
