^They actually didn’t do the cgi de aging thing for that spoiler related scene. They did however do it for Mark Hamill in the Mandalorian and BOBF so depending on how well you received that it’ll be the judging criteria.

I'm all for originality but I wouldn't say any of the series are mainly based on legends. Sure some legends stuff is in there but n9t so much that it's basically adapting previous stories.

Personally I voted no because I'd rather see shows about new characters rather than previously established ones.

I would prefer Mace Windu content to occur post ROTS because I wouldn’t want a series about details about his past. One of my favorite things about Windu is how mysterious he is. I think that if Mace Windu did come back he shouldn’t have his own series but rather appear in someone else’s series.

^^This is a fair point. Some of Star Wars greatest characters work far better if there kept mysterious. I don't personally think this applies for Mace Windu but for other characters it certainly does.

I’m fine with Mace Windu appearing in a show if it makes sense for the story. But do I want Windu: A Star Wars Story? No. I am and have always been against the idea that every character under the sun needs their own dedicated show or movie.

If they want to bring back Windu, and really focus on his character, that needs to be a book, comic, or even a game. Star Wars is in the position where the fans can have their cake and eat it too. We can have, through EU content, stories that build out the universe and expand on familiar characters, and through the mainstream live action stories, bold new ideas, that continue on the foundation the old films laid.

If everything gets the live action treatment, not only will things get stale, but Star Wars would also be severely misusing one the key things that makes it special: the ability to tell whatever story it wants across all genres and mediums in an already established and successful sandbox.

@Swatteam123 yeah, these ones worked out quite well imo, but I don't think, that they are willing to use de aging for a main character in a whole show (especially cause the biggest part of the fans aren't that interested in Maces backstory.)
