I think the battle droids were deactivated

They just continued the battles after killing there jedi generals is my guess

Well for the most part it was a sweep, because the droids were de commissioned, but for the areas of interest defended by biological separatists non Jedi commanders led the charge.

With at least 50% of the CIS armies deactivated I should imagine any battles that didn't just end immediately were a bit of an anticlimax

I think the street vendors selling white flags made a killing that day.
