Tbh I don't follow the comic and probably miss some detail while watching the prequels

^ It's a good novel. I won't spoil much but let's just say there's a lot of . . . Vader killing people? Typical behavior for him, I guess 😂
^This does indeed sound like his usual coffee break…I mean day job.
^ Lol! He should get a coffee mug of himself, there are plenty of cool ones. Sorry off-topic.
^Yeah 😂 anyways back on topic. I can only imagine what was going through Bail’s mind in legends as he continued to raise Leia and most likely prayed that she wouldn’t end up like Vader.
I think Bail would know. I’m honestly not sure how Kenobi didn’t know. Yoda and Kenobi at least knew that Anakin was referred to as Vader from the Jedi Temple security system. And from a galactic news perspective, how could they not know that Vader was the chief enforcer for the Emperor? I guess it’s possible Kenobi wouldn’t be connected into galactic news with him hiding in exile. But Bail? I mean I don’t know if it’s been outright said in canon that Vader was kept hidden or secret from the galaxy prior to the civil war. He clearly has a reputation and is well known after the civil war based on canon novels like Bloodline.
I don't think he knows who Darth Vader really is
Now the only way he would know is if Obi-Wan tells him that Anakin became Vader
Yeah he definitely finds out at some point because in the book bloodline, he records a message for leia telling her that Vader was her father
And then leaves it in a music box and some one finds it whose not supposed to and then that lady stirs drama in the senate and stuff but I digress
^excellent call. I read Bloodline quite awhile ago but I thought I remembered it indicating Bail knew.
^^ Yep, spot on. I get the feeling Bail knows early on as sounds like he passes the box to his cousin well before Alderaan is destroyed.
I would think that when Bail rescuers Yoda and Obi-Wan aboard his ship, he would be apart of the “debrief” about what happened in Mustafar. So once it became known to the Senate that “Vader” was second in command, Bail would know who he truly is.
What do you think?
