I’m enjoying the show, but the soundtrack hasn’t “felt” like Star Wars.

Exactly! Like they have this whole new Vader and Empire theme. WHY?! Just use the Imperial March!!! It's the whole reason that exists... 🤦‍♂️

One would think that with John Williams at the helm the music would be stellar and we’d here some classic Star Wars themes like the imperial march but nope ☹️.

I like it, because they don’t use any familiar leitmotifs it makes the soundtrack new and refreshing and gives the chance to use leitmotifs from it’s soundtrack in later works.

If you listen closely, you can sometimes hear themes that are very similar to previous, existing ones, though.

Exactly! We wanna hear Duel of the Fates... We know what should be playing whenever we see Darth Vader. The current soundtrack is good and suitable. However, Obi Wan series is a continuation of the Prequels. It feels way more like Star Wars when we hear the previous masterpieces themes. Come onnn.

John Williams is like 50% of Star Wars IMO
