It would make a better storyline then where she got left off at in canon.

You see I’m not sure though because outside the line “Red suits me better” didn’t she frame the situation as her, the last real Jedi, resisting the corrupt false Jedi? Why would she then go on to join the Inquisitorius when they are opposed to even her warped interpretation of the “true” Jedi Order. Canon Barriss, from her granted limited screen time, didn’t really seem to think anything of Palpatine so I don’t see a political reason for why she’d join him.

While I’m a little unsure if she actually would join the inquisitors, I voted yes because that like DarthMalice said it would’ve been a much better storyline than the unresolved storyline we still have regarding canon Bariss. We still don’t know what’s become of her post order 66 or what exactly her motivations were behind her 180 degree turn. I’m just going to stop right there before I rant about canon Bariss again lol

I doubt the small piece of Anakin left in Vader would let her live, let alone join his dark-side club, after what she did to Ahsoka.

Of course there is that theory that the Seventh Sister is her, but I doubt it very much. She and Ahsoka came face-to-face in Rebels and didn't recognise each other at all, not even in the force. I actually quite like the dark Barris story & arc from TCW, so I'd be interested to see if it goes anywhere. Hey, she might even show up in Ahsoka, who knows.

Nope. This is because she is dead. I don't think that she could have lasted long enough in a Republic Prison (If you can even call it Republic, it was the embodiment of the Empire in all but name) with charges of bombing the Jedi Temple and framing someone else for it, along with the murder of MANY troopers and a civilian.
