Yes characters like Luke han Leia the droids Vader Chewbacca have all appeared in canon stories so I would say that the holiday is semi canon also Chewbacca family are canon they appear in a novel i believe
I was actually referring to "canon" to the Legends timeline. The old timeline had stuff that was canon and non-canon to it. And tons of the background characters are referenced in other material, in the old EU.
^^ well technically things originally from something non-canon can be canonized by something else, and that doesn’t make the original story canon. The Freemakers family in Canon is a good example. I see your point though.
Like I don’t consider that family from the Ewok movies canon but like the Ewoks the gorax and the wisties witches nightsister blurrgs and the Endor moon itself are canon or were brought back into canon
