These are not constituting war crimes in the real world, according to international humanitarian law. If I am correct, false surrender or faking an intent to negotiate under a flag of truce becomes a war crime only when the deceived party complies with international law regarding these circumstances (not to harm prisoners of war or ambassadors) and the deceiver takes an advantage specifically on that behavior. I think all of these are examples of ruses of war.

The reason why faking a surrender is so bad, is that it puts all of your future soldier's lives in danger. If a faction doesn't imprison or execute their officers that conduct a false surrender, the opposing faction will be forced to kill every enemy who surrenders in the future.
