^Technically Kyle Katarn is from the New Republic era... but only like a month or two into that era. As it's most likely his Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 version (5 ABY) and not later takes where he's a bonified Jedi Master. As he's still very young looking.

Mara Jade is still the Emperor's Hand. Probably 4 ABY around the time she was sent after Luke, but so botched that mission she never even got a real chance to go after him. My wager would be after she got the mission but before she arrived on Tatooine based on her not being disguised as Arice but having all her bonuses vs Luke. Also not later than that point because we know she wasn't wearing that outfit then either.

Darth Talon is obviously Legacy era... being from ~130 ABY.

Starkiller is from 2 BBY. So The Rise of the Empire era.

Dash Rendar is 3 ABY. So the Rebellion era, like Mara Jade.

And basically every other Legends character is Old Republic era to my knowledge.

^ Yeah You are correct I didn't think about that. It would be cool to see a Battle Master Version of him as a journey guide character if they did end up adding more Legends characters. This also makes me wonder why did they make Mara the pre Jedi version of herself since we got Dash Rendar from rebellion era, Talon from Legacy era, and Kyle from the New Republic era. It seems they skipped the NJO era entirely, I hope they eventually go back and add someone from that time, but it seems we only get EU characters when Disney has nothing new coming out or nothing going on in the shows/games department.

EDIT: I didn't think about Starkiller himself but now it really does seem that the NJO period was entirely skipped seeing that this and the Pre Republic era are the only two factions we don't have a character from.

^My bet is to avoid the "she's Luke's wife" stuff and simultaneously still get her in the game as a dark aligned but force neutral character to fill the much harder to fill badguy quota.

Hopefully one day they release Grand/Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and Jedi Master Mara Jade Skywalker. Hopefully from the New Jedi Order series (where both characters peaked in quality of writing, not powers). Though obviously I'd love all the Solo kids from the New Jedi Order series as well (and please not Darth Caedus, who is a terrible retcon of everything Jacen Solo was).

^ lol that kinda still happend when the characters were coming out and some YouTubes were trying to fill in the community as to who she was. I would love to see them all in the game one day I would just hope they would be fun to aquire or somewhat easier than alot of the newer units have been like the inquitors or Lord Vader while also being really good to respect the characters in lore.

EDIT: Imagine GL Caedus he just gains any and all the abilites he needs to beat the team he's facing lol.

Something I haven’t seen a lot of people request is characters from the High Republic era.

I think it’d be awesome to implement some of the Jedi of that era in the game, especially since we don’t have anything like that in the game already.

I haven't played Galaxy of Heroes for years, but are there Old Republic or Legacy characters in the game yet? Maybe I'll start playing again, if there are some Legends/Old Republic characters.

I like the idea of creating new characters from the post ST era!

Just because we don’t have movies or canon content from that era doesn’t mean new characters can’t be created. Heck, they totally created a new canon character, Kal Cestis, from a video game, so why not do that in SWGOH?

It doesn’t even have to be a canon character because GOH uses legends characters all over the place.

What if a new Jedi academy gets created post ST? Or some new dark side threats arise?

This game can explore those possibilities.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner because my computer died, but I would like to see more characters from all these eras (I wanted to see other's thoughts on this). Especially the NR/NJO though.

Old Republic - Bane and Zannah, maybe Meetra or some other people from the games?

Pre-Prequels - Plagueis (hence the fanart)

Prequels (sorry I forgot to add this) - maybe some more of the clones, like Republic Commandos possibly?

New Republic - Jedi Mara Jade, Legends Skywalker/Solo kids, some more of the Jedi from the new order (I am reading a bunch of the books now)

Edit: And maybe the Yuuzhan Vong. I mean, that could be interesting?

Legacy Era - I know, not the most popular or known era but the characters from there could be a unique addition, like Krayt since they already have Talon, or Cade Skywalker

Anyway I like the game but I'd love to see more Legends characters added, and not just the most popular ones.
