❔ [Timeline] Guys, I found out exactly how long the Clone Wars was.

So I got curious exactly how long the Clone Wars was. I know it was three years, but wanted to know the exact time. I looked up the pages of 22 BBY and 19 BBY on the Legends versions. Apparently, Order 66 happened EXACTLY 36 Months and 1 day, 3 years and one day, after the Battle of Geonosis. Revenge of the Sith is exactly 3 years after AoTC in Legends.

Order 66 is also 3 years after the Battle of Geonosis in canon as well. There’s no time difference between the continuities (thankfully).

I've been wondering for months whether the Clone Wars was more or less than 3 years, I never suspected that it would be exactly 3!

It would be nice if it was just an indeterminate amount of time. The chronology is less important than the story.

But wait, what about daylight savings time? Or different times in different galaxies?

I'm sure this was already taken into account or simply a non-issue.
