Clone Wars Dooku was an improvement, they gave him a better, fuller beard.

I think the point of the animated Dooku was to be a brooding and opposing opponent rather than a man. Idk though..

The point is that the Pau'an have been shown live action and the Grand Inquisitor looks much more Rattataki than he does Pau'an (live action). I would even say he looks more Umbaran than Pau'an.

I mean much like how Cad Bane looks in The Book Boba Fett kinda resembles the look he had in The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch

I agree with the OP. I've never understood why people make such a big deal about live action looking nothing like the animated when the reverse is never complained about. And yet it's harder to match live action to animated because you can do so much more with animated.
