We already got all of the development and story we need on Maul throughout Clone Wars and Rebels, not to mention his Son of Dathomir comics and his 2017 comics. I personally don’t see what else can be added unless the series will focus on his childhood.
In my opinion we’ve had too much Maul recently (and he’s my favorite Sith, btw) the only reason I’d see for a Maul show would be about him and Crimson Dawn.
If we didn't have all the aforementioned content, I would say hell yeah! And before catching up on the canon series, I would have wanted Maul in the Obi-Wan movie/series. Of course, with Maul having made appearances in Rebels, which led to a final confrontation and death to Darth Maul, I have no idea at this point.
Take parts of The Wrath of Darth Maul, for mission flashbacks use a few comics, Lockdown and Shadow Hunter. Followed by Crimson Dawn. Shadow Hunter could open up a show later on involving Jax Pavan and Coruscant lower levels.
No, we really have had a lot of him lately, and it’s getting old. He wasn’t even that interesting to begin with, so I’d kind of like to just let him lie. He got his end, just let him rest.
