The Sequel Era had a lot of interesting concepts that at face value seem interesting but the execution... Yeah.

Not the biggest fan, but I chose overrated only because the media apparatus was just showering it with praise, and some of them calling it the best era. So I went with that.

Poor writing is what really plagued the sequels, it felt like not much effort was put into it. Lets not also forget that the plots they used were also pretty similar to what the OT used.

The Mandalorian is to me what the Seqs should have been: take elements of the PT and OT and make your own style. Sadly, the ST just took it all from the Origs.

I loved it up to TROS which was stupid but fun. It has its flaws but for this OT purist it's much better than the mostly childish PT. Obviously the OT is the best.

OT > ST > PT

Luke being out of character with no slightest rational explanation still seems pretty unforgivable. I didn't watch TROS but when I heard they pretty much replaced Anakin as the Chosen One that was the final nail in the coffin for the sequels. I have thoroughly enjoyed Mandalorian, R1, Book of Boba and Obi-Wan series so far though to be fair to Disney.

Lost potential at its finest if they had simply made Rey Leia and Han’s daughter it would’ve been completely different she would be a real Skywalker.

The siblings at opposite ends of the force would’ve been cool too.

And she would’ve been trained at the Academy so no more Mary Sue talk.

Bad brainless writers.

It’s okay not the best but it’s not like entirely terrible there are small good moments however those good moments got lost in some of the poor character consistency

FA and LJ are decent enough but TROY was bad and retroactively hurt the other two films for me.
