It could work, but they can also sense you and rip your gun out of your hands before you get a chance to fire it

Couldn't they just block the bullets with the force or something. Like lifting a rocket and throwing it away, but with bullets. Or create a force barrier.

Minigun shoots so fast they cant even focus on the bullets with the force. if the bullets are made of beskar no armour except mandalorian armour would stand a chance against them.

On its own, anyway.

Because that's the real trick: attack from multiple angles.

Outflank a Jedi or Sith, overwhelm their ability to focus on using the Force, and they're screwed.

Ever wonder why the high ground works so well for Obi-Wan? The inherent advantage of the angle means he forces his opponent's approach in a predictable manner, and they have to put it in more effort.

Or another case: Windu getting tossed out the window... because Anakin came in from an unexpected angle and Windu was far too focused on Palpatine to notice.

As long as they don't know where you are before you pull the trigger, yes, this is a way to do it. Of course, any rifle will also do the trick.
