For me, it would definitely have to be Anakin’s death in ROTJ.

True, Kanan's death was just very sad. Rebels was a masterpiece and.....ended up being one of the things that really got my family invested in Star Wars which has given it a special place in my heart.
@J Fan
I would definitely recommend catching up, at the very least watch the final four episodes. I'm debating on whether Ahsoka's arc is worth watching aside from reintroducing Darth Maul into the season or introducing the sisters who later show up on The Bad Batch later on...spoiler alert.
Oh, I am so excited for watching all of the Star Wars stuff on Disney+. <:D
I still think it is so cool they brought Clone Wars back for that conclusive season. And The Bad Batch, ohmigosh, from just the clips I have seen I am so excited. The animation is fantastiiiiiic~!
@Swatteam123 (if I'm allowed to comment here) my knowing about Kanan's death wasn't a gut feeling, I actually learned about it before I watched it. Maybe that's why it hit home so much.
Anakin getting burnt on Mustafar. Really makes you fill bad for the guy in that scene
The death of Han
The death of Luke
The death of Leia
The death of Fives
Ahsoka leaves the Jedi Order
Order 66
Rogue One crew's death
The death of Yoda
@Legendary Super Saiyan Fennekin No lie, that was literally all I did around May 2020, of course that was half the fanbase I'd presume, but that's another matter. The Disney+ series is far from disappointing, in my opinion. Now do I say it's the best of Star Wars? Depends. For every good show or episode, you have some disappointing ones. I do like The Bad Batch series so far, but The Clone Wars was arguably more fantastic and definitely ended on a very high note.
Even though he lives, probably Han getting thrown into carbonite. Chewie’s reaction was rough to watch!
Same as in TFA. I wished Chewie had hurdled the gap and ripped Kylo's arms off.
For me, none of the scenes in the movie really hit that hard except for the fight between Anakin and Obi-Wan in RotS, and the death of the Roogue One crew. But the clone wars season 7 finale had me sobbing, as well as just order 66 in general. Tbh, I think order 66 was sadder in TCW because it's not just about how they lost the Jedi, but shows that they lost the clones, characters we could actually get attached to before we lose them. But personally, as an Obitine shipper, season 5 episode 16 (I think thats the right episode?) freakin hurt. That one also had me sobbing.
This is really hard, but I think I'm going with Vader's death in ROTJ. It hit hard especially after seeing Anakins whole arc in the prequels and TCW, like his relationship with Obi Wan and his fall to the dark side, and how by the end Obi Wan has virtually given up on bringing him back, but then he becomes Anakin again after saving Luke, only for him to die in his sons arms. This conclusion to Anakins story was super emotional and really got to me.
There is a lot of sadness is the star wars universe and franchise as a whole. A sad one in my opinion comes in Eleena Daru's point of view as she is killed by what she thinks is the love of her life. Also Darth Malgus is upset about his choice.
What do you think?
