In Star Wars Legends Leia was visited by the force ghost of her father Anakin Skywalker, the man who used to be Darth Vader. It wasn't a pleasant meeting as Leia was unable to forgive him for the things he'd done no matter how hard he begged, and it was the only time she saw him.
It wasn't until a year later when Leia visited Tatooine, heard Anakin's old friends talking about him, and saw her grandmother's video diary describing how kind Anakin was that she was able to forgive him.
But this has made me wonder. What did Leia think of her birth mother before learning the truth about Anakin?
Did she know her mother was different from Vader and was a kind loving person, or did Leia assume that just because Padme was married to Darth Vader that she too was a cruel, mean, and awful person?
