^^^ I 3rd what Swatt said, This is my all time favorite Star Wars era so many of my favorite characters are brought in thru this era Kyle Katarn, Kir Kanos, Corran Horn, Ysanne Isard. I love so many of these characters and all of these amazing stories like Tatioone ghosts, x-wing, Crimson Empire, Dark Empire ect. One thing I personally do is combine this era with the NJO era but I just do this because it feels a little better for me then separating the two. I love all the character development and seeing all of the Orignal Trilogy cast become better characters like Han Leia and Luke, I also love the introductuon to Mara Jade and new Villains like Thrawn and Pellaeon. I really wish canon wouldn't mess up the New Republic era like it seems they have already, this era has so much potential to be great like it was in the EU so i hope they capitalize on it.

^Are you going to do a NJO era post as well? Just curious because if not then I can also brag about the beauty known as Luke’s legends Jedi order and Han and Leia’s children are awesome in the NJO era! Then of course there’s the Yuuzhan Vong!

^ Oh yes i definitely will , I will also do the Pre old republic after I finish Legacy and NJO. I might also do The First order era maybe.

^^ bruh don’t even get me started on the Yuuzhan Vong…I vibe so hard with that story, such a high stakes event that united the galaxy for a time and I feel would have been a really solid conclusion to the “Star Wars.” The galaxy finally has to put aside there differences and truly come together for a time for something greater than themselves. Not sure we will get something like it again.

^Me too! They’re awesome antagonists and if there’s ever a Star Wars horror series it better be about them! I also loved how they couldn’t be sensed through the force. It was a truly difficult fight for the new Jedi order. I wish the comic series wasn’t canceled.

It was ok, probably would have to be my least favorite era though.

Pretty good not just for the additional worldbuilding but also it introduced me to my favourite faction: the Sorcerers of Rhand.

I love this era. It’s my second fav right under the old republic era, but sometimes I almost want to move it to first place. Especially when I think of the characters, and events which happen in or follow this era. At first I actually didn’t like this era but once I read Dark force rising, I was hooked. Next thing I know I was looking up characters/lore, playing Jedi outcast/academy and reading and craving more new republic era books.

It's just good. I love Dark Empire and the Bantam era!
