Well Part IV is here and sadly I can’t say that I enjoyed this episode. It just felt completely underwhelming to be honest. The action could’ve been better and the CGI was very distracting.
I will say that one of my favorite aspects of this series is the bond between Obi-Wan and Leia. It just feels very genuine and entertaining to watch. I never thought Leia would be in the series to begin with, but I’m glad. Leia’s actress has done a stellar job and you could really sense the comfort she felt when reunited with Obi-Wan.
Tala is such a sweet lady that I just know she and everyone else in the Path are doomed. She got by Imperial security way too easily and the fact that none of the officers seemed to really bat an eye when she was openly communicating with Obi-Wan is a little baffling. She also mentioned the Grand Inquisitor, so unless she didn’t have faulty information and the Imperial security officer wasn’t an idiot then he still lives. It also looks like O’Shae Jackson Jr isn’t playing Quinlan Vos as some had theorized.
I’m now having concerns that Reva may end up renouncing the Inquisitors and the dark side based on her chat with Leia about her childhood. I would like her to remain an antagonist to the very end. Vader storming into the command center was honestly funny. I’m also becoming disappointed in the Fifth Brother as all he’s really done so far is stand around and complain.
The Inquisitors’ trophy room, or tomb as Obi-Wan called it, was very disturbing. I’m almost certain the first individual was Tera Sinube.
