Considering that we know for a fact that Qui Gon is responsible for Obi Wan learning how to become a force ghost, I think it would be better to show us a little bit of that even if it’s just a single scene. I would prefer that over another version of bacta tank Boba.

Loved the ending of this episode, with Lola turning dark. Didn't see it coming and thought it was a clever twist!

Sorry if this was already posted or mentioned elsewhere. I posted this comment in another blog post but didn't recall the spoiler policy which I might have broken. Just in casers, I'm copying/pasting it all here just to say that I said it. Lol Anywho, this was in question about the Grand Inquistor in Obi-Wan Kenobi not looking like the Inquisitor from Rebels:

My theory is that the Grand Inquistor is the one we see in the Rebels series, BUT he also isn't. I know, what I'm saying is confusing right? But I believe either Reva's attack was more of a wound rather than a fatal lightsaber strike, which I guess is the current and likely theory. I suspect there is a possibility that the Grand Inquistor has a twin, maybe more. Based on the fact that the Jedi Knight guards seen in The Clone Wars were all masked, who's to say that there was only one Jedi guard that became an Inquistor, let alone only one with that face.

Again, just speculation on my part. Hopefully Lucasfilm will fix this mess or clarify something.

what really happened to the grand inquisitor is a worthwhile consideration which has perplexed (angered?) many fans of the show.

But many news articles seem to suggest the show’s creators are well aware of the controversy and they are coyly suggesting everyone wait until the end of the series before drawing any conclusions.

I have a feeling they will simply declare Grand Inquisitor never died from Reva’s jab.

But I am holding out hope that fat head inquisitor from OWK series and pencil head inquisitor from Rebels series are two different people from same species and both worked as temple guards.

I haven't seen the latest episode yet, so I guess my review is still valid. I'll keep this brief since I've been pretty preoccupied with IRL stuff lately.

The Empire is kind of oblivious in this episode. That officer let Tala in way too easily. So I guess anyone wearing an Imperial uniform who says they're in charge are good to go. And, there were multiple times when Kenobi was just strolling by in broad sight and was not seen. Especially at the end of the episode; Tala and Kenobi, the latter of which was clearly hiding something underneath his robes, walked through a swarm of troopers and still weren't caught. I guess this is a nitpick, but still something that bugged me.

Reva was actually ok in this one. I suppose she's more intimidating when she's not screaming. It was kinda interesting watching Leia resist her and seeing if her impulsive decisions will get the better of her.

I'm sorry, but the Darth Vader Reva scene was ridiculous. Realistically, he wouldn't have given a crap if Reva had hidden a tracker in Lola, she literally had both Kenobi and Leia at the tips of her fingers and let them get away. Remember Vader in TESB? He was choking admirals to death left and right because they made one mistake. The same happens here, but I guess it's different for Inquisitors, I don't know.

One thing that I've noticed is that each Kenobi episode somewhat resembles each Star Wars movie. Hear me out: Parts I-VI represent episodes I-VI. 1: Kenobi starts a journey like Anakin does where they have to leave Tatooine. 2: This one is tricky, but the city resembles the Coruscant underworld quite a bit. 3: Vader's power is shown in full force and Vader and Kenobi duel and one of them gets burned. 4: Kenobi rescues Leia from the Empire and the Empire tracks their location. It doesn't match perfectly, but I think it's a fun coincidence.

I've heard that the exact same story in this episode happens in Jedi: Fallen Order (I haven't finished it). Is this true? If so, than I'm disappointed from a writing perspective. I guess it's all enjoyable from the perspective of someone who hasn't played the game, but I'll bet it's underwhelming for those who have.

All-in-all, I enjoyed this one. While there were many elements of mediocrity, it wasn't as glaring as the past two episodes. 6.5/10 for me.
