@Legends Lover My gosh, you're still active?
I don’t mean a Sequel retcon, but an alternate live-action or animated continuation of Legends all the way to Legacy. Funny though; all those people that are like “I just do Canon blah blah blah” are fine with Visions, which was “Non-Canon” (supposedly).
@Gcar18 Ryus should be allowed to say what he wants if ST shills can insult us EU people all week.
@LordRyus I understand why you’d think that. But we’ve gone to far now to start retconning. There’s been a NJO, a Swarm War, a LOTF, a Kemp Duology, and a FOTJ. If we started just throwin’ out his stuff, it’d be, as Sheev said, “civil war without end”, and a mess that’ll make the Thought Bomb inconsistencies look like a kids’ show.
I think what’s better than retconning or the Rian Johnson way of chastisement or the JJ Abrams way of nostalgia is to reevaluate what you hate. For example, Luceno’s books like Cloak of Deception and Darth Plagueis should make any Prequel hater cower in regret.
I mean, Lord Ryus is more than free to have that opinion. I’m just convinced at this point that he’s got that whole “Denningverse” speech in a notepad file ready to copy and paste to any thread that even mentions the Legacy era.
Ryus and I also happen to be in agreement in literally everything but this. And while I’m not going to stop him from expressing his opinion, I find his constant expression of it to be increasingly insufferable, and in my current read through of LOTF, and my last read through of NJO 2 years ago, I’ve found multiple areas that I consider to be direct refutations to the arguments he makes. That 77% I put out there is not fully serious, it’s more of an attempt at levity cuz I don’t want to just straight up attack Ryus over this. In fact, several of his points I would concede. But even if I spot him an extra 2%, there was actually some math that went into that number.
Anyway, an LOTF argument is not the point of this thread, it’s asking a question unrelated to LordRyus’s typical complaints and my rebuttals to that. On top of that I am no longer just a petroleum engineering student. I am a full blown petroleum engineer with the big boy job to go along, so I don’t exactly have the time outside my break to dedicate to a post of that length. With that said, I’ll wait until I finish LOTF to rehash the topic.
To conclude, no, I wouldn’t have wanted a post-crucible show. That era is largely implied to be fairly quiet, and I find the years between FOTJ and Legacy to be uninteresting.
Hey, recently became so again, yes. I was active early this year somewhat, and then was silent for 3 or 4 months.
Sure why not
I am not sure what is but it sounds cool

Cool the article looks well put together, nice! Do you own the website? I own four copies of Heart of the Jedi Amazon print currently, LOL. I am sitting on a gold mine!
@Legends Lover I own it! Do't have a domain name, but own it! I hope you and other readers enjoy it.
Lucky about HOTJ! It was gone too soon! I have never read it. Coincidentally, the EU timeline site that hosts it has me advertised on it.
What do you think?
