Out of geniune curiosity. How did you guys discover Star Wars?
Was hanging out at my uncle's place, about age 5, and turns out he had the TPM DVD
So I watched it, got hooked
My dad wanted to get me into star wars when I was, 9, introducing me to star wars. At first, I didn't really like episode 4, but about a year after the force awakens came out, I was persuaded to watch it, and I absolutely loved it. I watched all of the sequels, and then the original trilogy, and then the prequel trilogy and spinoff movies. I quite literally became addicted. It's one of the main reason why I hate it so much when other fans are being toxic about the sequels.
Watched the original on TV in the 80s at my cousin's house and played with his action figures. Saw ROTJ in the theater, don't remember watching ESB the first time. Still have most of my vintage Kenner figures
I discovered Star Wars by watching Spaceballs first. My dad isn't a big SW fan but he loves Mel Brooks movies. So I saw the parody before I knew what it was making fun of. After that, my uncle lent me his copies of the films so I could understand.
I was born in the late 80s, there was not much to watch in the 90s lol not like today
Dad watched empire with me when very young
Not sure how old I was but I stumbled 8nto my great grandmother room to watch a movie on her VHS or VCR idek which one, but when I looked through the movies I saw Star Qars Episode I: The Phantoms Menace. So o threw it in the VHS and a watched it til the end which wasn't something I did too often back then. It is truly the first memory I have of watching a movie
Imagine if it hadn't been rewound and started in the middle
My cousion share a star wars book with me and i got into it
Well i first watched when i was 7 (post 2010) and havent picked up any interest in it. But a few months ago i was bored and scrolling through Disney+, and decided to watch star wars. Who knew that now i am absorbed in star wars?
