^^ Yep like swatt said the Rebellion Era is the period in between 0BBY and 5ABY which is just Episode 4-6 , but there are novels/comics and a few games in between this time. It is only marked Rebellion Era in Legends in canon I don't exactly know what they call this time period. You can read about all the events that took place in this time here.
@Swatteam123 I read the first volume of Brian Wood (In the Shadow of Yavin)! I really liked it, and can't wait for the others! This was my first SW read suggested by a friend, so thanks!
I am currently tring to collect all ofthe series just titled "Star Wars". Simultaneously I'm getting the old Marvel series (40% done), the LA Times comic strip (50% done), Republic when it used to be called SW (0% done), Brian Wood (25% done), and now the 2015 series (0% done). I am gonna wait on the 2020 one. All of these are a part of my headcanon.
Thanks for the recommendation! If you want any let me know!
^Glad you’re enjoying it so far. It’s definitely a part of my head canon and I definitely need to read the 1977 Star Wars comics. Those are pretty high up on my comic list as well as the X wing comics.
@Swatteam123 The Marvel series is stereotyped as Non-Canon trite, but Archie Goodwin very obviously cared about the story, because they're very well-plotted. The only drawback in Carmine Infantino's art is atrocious, with leotards and V-necks, which was of course common in Marvel books in the late Seventies. SW writers Joe Bongiorno and Abel Pena made careers out of making it Canon with retcon articles in the 2000s. The most famous is the novella SkyeWalkers, which retcons a Chris Claremont SW story that gives the indication that Anakin and Vader are separate people, of course published before TESB.

^So many novels and comics and so little time to read them. I’m bouncing between OT era comics and NJO novels 😂
^I'm currently reading SkyeWalkers. The references to all of SW EU is mind-boggling.
^Just reading that continuity section is a real head scratcher 😂
Here it is on the EU Timeline site: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1eaxlwtQMqInKs96zZYip969G5m8FMYMU/view
My favorite stories of the rebellion era are

The holiday special
The empire strikes back
Return of the Jedi
@Matthew Purifoy Glad I'm not the only one who likes the Holiday Special! I watch it every Thanksgiving weekend!
