Legends Rise of the Empire era is beautiful! Quinlan Vos, Ki Audi Mundi, Aayla Secura, Yaddle, Grievous and even Commander Bly get so much development in this era. All of their characters actually mean something to me in legends unlike in canon where their characters are either irrelevant or just a bad joke. Quinlan Vos and A'Sharad Hett are my biggest takeways from this era because of how much their characters struggled with being jedi in a time where the duties and morals of the jedi were exceptional grey. Quinlan's undercover storyline is so well written because it actually has the reader question his loyalties and I was on the edge of my seat during his battle with Aayla Secura (both of them). I'm so glad he got a happy ending! Grievous was actually a Jedi killer, Ventress never died for a hippie, Ki Audi Mundi's family got some spotlight. Aurra Sing was MUCH more ruthless in legends as well.

It is certainly an interesting era and one in which a lot of my favorite stories take place in.

My favourite in both Canon and Legends! But seriously, there's so much consistently amazing content - Legends has CW 2003, Labyrinth of Evil, OG BFII, Republic commando, TFU 1 & 2, Dark Lord: the Rise of Darth Vader and how could I forget, ROTS.

Canon has TCW, Rebels, RO, Solo, the Vader comics, JFO, the Ahsoka novel, the Thrawn Trilogy, the Thrawn Ascendancy Trilogy, TBB & it looks like we have a bunch more content on the way!

I meant to choose awesome. This is my favorite era of Legends, and I wish the amount of time they spent on the Vong and Abeloth would've been spent here.
