@Ctmeh I'm not going to argue but just say this: SW was never intended to portray "realism" or mental disorders such as PTSD, because SW is a fun kids' movie for adults. That's all it ever was and will be.

Secondly, your insult about the EU indicates you have never actually read it. Try the classic Marvel series and you will see Luke at his best. Also, Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor, Dark Empure and the NJO are genuine character evolutions for him that aren't out of character. Evidently you're basing the EU off the Bantam era.

@VaderBoyee I have read much of Legends and almost all of Luke's stories within. I found it pretty basic, as you say, stuff for kids. I thought Luke's portrayal was boring and unsophisticated in the main.

I do want realistic character portrayals for the most part otherwise how can I relate to them.

^To be fair we’ve all discussed this particular topic enough times to know where each of us stands on it. I think for the most we’ve respected each other’s opinions and accepted that our individual opinions aren’t going to change.

^I thought I'd get banned for being "too opinionated", mostly because I got blasted for pointing out that an anti-Prequel meme on here was unfair since 90% of Wookieepedians are PT fans, based on the polls.

^Well from what I can tell the conversation didn’t get too out of hand to the point that a mod had to step in. At the end of day the conversation ended on decent terms. It’s better to accept the things you can’t change but still respect each other’s opinions. As long as we can continue to emit that convos and debates will continue to be healthy and non-confrontational.
