^^What do you mean he is a desk?
The desk was a tribute to him, but not the man himself.
^ That's the joke they turned his into just a desk, he has no story no lore just a slab on a desk.
^Except he does.
^ That's bassicly a summary of his original EU lore , what disney added was his name to a slab and put him on a desk
^Ah well, ya win some ya lose some.
@Darth Malice Why would it take place in the high Republic era? KOTOR is a story and you can’t just move eras especially since it was canon for over 10 years. It’s gonna be a remake lol, not a completely new thing. Plus Revan already exists in legends even if he hasn’t appeared in anything.
We that's my problem , I have played so many different games and have learned that the term Remake Means an entirely new game sometimes or the same game with new story and different lore, while Remastered usually means updated graphics maybe a new few Easter eggs Ect. This is seen in many franchises but two thay come to my head are Resident Evil games remakes which have a new story which was inspired by the original but is different, and Call of Duty MW1 and MW2 Remastered which are the same games but different graphics and new Easter eggs. So I am worried that the new Kotor remake will be a different game with different lore and in a new era being dineys version of the Old Republic aka the High Republic.
@Darth Malice24 You don’t seem to understand. The old republic still exists in canon. It just hasn’t had any appearances. The high Republic is a completely new era of storytelling. Believe it or not KOTOR stands for Knights of the OLD REPUBLIC. For something to be called the old republic it has to take place in the old republic (pre 1000 bby). Resident Evil is a completely different situation. A video game series is nothing like a multimedia franchise with hundreds of books, comics, games, shows, movies, etc taking place over thousands of years. You can’t just insert a game filled with characters stories, settings, and lore, many with other appearances into another era. Star Wars simply does not work like that. KOTOR in the end is about Revan and Revan is an old republic Jedi knight and dark lord of the Sith.
P.S. since you don’t seem to know this, it’s supposed to be a direct remake set in legends.
I don't know I have a lot of trust issues with Disney making retcons and unnecessary changes. I saw a little while back some directors/workers for the game have left , I'll just have to wait and see if it will be the exact same game before I buy it. I honestly still feel there is a chance Disney will swap some things around , im just gonna remain un-excited for the game and see how it goes.
EDIT: Do we have confirmation it will be set in Legends as of now ?
This one is my overall favorite.
What do you think?
