This was another excellent Episode! The build-up of the tension until the climax was what sold the episode for me. I like seeing how the characters of Kenobi and Reva will progress further from here.
What's probably going to be the most controversial part of this episode is the confrontation between Kenobi and Vader at the very end. Honestly speaking, I have nothing against it. I don't really give two hoots about them meeting before A New Hope. See, the confrontation between former brothers was one I think adds more tension to their eventual reunion, the fact that Vader states that He did not feel Kenobi's Prescence since some nebulous event can be read in another way, maybe Vader thought that Kenobi dies at the end of this series, and his surprise that Kenobi is alive rivals Kenobi's realisation.
Again, Vader and Kenobi could have met here, and still maintain the tension in ANH, everything depends on how this is handled in the future. My optimism remains unblemished.
One thing Star Wars understands is how to make Vader look scary, in JFO, and now Kenobi, Vader felt scary. His poetic Justice to Kenobi felt like something a twisted Anakin would do, something Anakin, not Vader would do.
Reva, I think, is a SIth through and through, brash, arrogant and cruel. I think she's being written this was intentionally, and I think the actor is playing her part very well. I predict her death at the end, preferably at the hands of the Grand Inquisitor Himself.
This episode is my favourite so far, though it adds a lot more pressure on the future.
I'd give this an 8.5/10 or a 9/10.
I love this show so far.
