Hope so it was a good death for him.

He is dead… for now. You never know with Star Wars. I actually saw a theory earlier today. Before Boba stabbed Cad Bane, if you notice on his left side of his shirt there is a red light on. After the stab the red light starts flickering and there is a beeping noise. The theory is that this might inform someone (maybe droids?) that he is injured. They could come to take him back to his ship and help him heal. Besides he has done so many modifications on his body that this stub wound might not be as life threatening for him. And let’s be real, people have survived worse than that in Star Wars. I hope he is not dead. I would love to see more live action stuff with him. He always makes the story interesting when he shows up and in my opinion it would be a waste to kill him now. And even if he is actually dead, we’ll I am happy that I at least got to see him on live action, and his death was caused by Boba and not some random person.

I doubt he will return in a live action show

But he could return maybe in The Bad Batch (Season 2) or another animated show

Remember , darth maul has survived after be cut in half

I hope he’s dead, him surviving would be the ultimate showcase of “death is meaningless.”

I really hope he's dead. Star Wars needs to let dead characters like Ahsoka die.

@Antimonitor10 The only reason Maul survived being cut in half was because he was so angry and rage filled from Kenobi, and anger from the dark side can keep you alive even when your body is as mangled and mutilated as Darth Sion's body.
