For me a rifle is ideal as they can serve close, medium, and long range capabilities if you are skilled enough. A scope that can be adjusted for a multitude of distances. I'd also carry and attachment that deals ion damage for droids, vehicles, and tanks something similar to a distributor rifle. Now there is something to be said about the color of you blaster bolt as if actually affects the quality of your shot. Obviously red being to most common color it uses a cheaper and more readily available gas, green used a more expensive variety of gas therefore making the cartridge better for weapons, blue is an ionised shot meant for dealing with technological threats but also was a decent option against meatbag targets. So with that being said I'd use the gas that emitted a green blaster bolt as I already have the ion attachment. Perhaps a collapsible stock for more up close and personal combat so It doesn't hinder my fighting capabilities.
