For me I've always been somewhat attracted to or attached to in a sense to double bladed lightsabers. They are sith in origin which is perfect for me because if i was to be a Jedi or Sith I'm choosing sith all the way. Now for color, color to me has always been a tricky thing because if im being a sith lord than wither red or purple would work but the creative side of my would want something like black of white. To me a D. lightsaber with two colors would be ideal. As I have pointed out already red a purple would be go to colors so maybe two crystals housed within the hilt one red and the other purple.
What would your ideal configuration be?
