Leia was a spoiled billionaire brat with servants and whatever she wanted... Luke was a poor kid living in a crime infested desert planet.
Who do you think had a "happier childhood"?
@Admiral of the Xtacy She was probably a trillionaire, lol. Her adopted mother was the monarch of one of the wealthiest planets in the galaxy.
Leia because she had a much happier life on Alderaan
She was able to live a much joyful life unlike Luke did
This is an easy question. Leia lived on one of the most beautiful planets in the galaxy with one of the wealthiest families in the galaxy. Luke lived on Tatooine and we all know that more bad things than good things happen on that planet. On top of that Luke literally begged his aunt and uncle to let him leave Tatooine.
Leia lived in a very developed planet, and was the "daughter" of senators, while luke lived in an underdeveloped planet, and was the "son" of moisture farmers
Plus alderaan wasn't dangerous unlike tatooine, which was filled with vile gangsters and tusken raiders
It's clear who had a better childhood
Leía she lived in the lap of luxury being the daughter of bail organa had access to the best schools and everything she could ever need to have a happy childhood.
Luke had it a lot harder growing up on tatooine which was crime infested no one can even go to the cantina without something going down. At the beginning of a new hope he was well on his way to joining the imperial military to get off world.
Leia probably had an easier life in terms of comfort but she also had a lot more responsibilities than Luke. I doubt she could afford the time to just lay around and play with her toys, at least from a certain age onward, unlike Luke, who still did that at the age of 19, lol.
As the daughter of a queen and a senator, I presume she was burdened with responsibilities and duties from an early age onward, to the point where she was responsible for the lives of countless civilians. Luke never had this burden before ANH takes place. She must have been expected to attend one event after the other: several dinners, beneficial events, and the like; to participate (somewhat) in politics, and to learn diplomacy.
I do think Leia had a fairly happy childhood with loving parents but it must have also been quite strict seeing that she must have been raised to follow her father's footsteps from quite early onward. So, I strongly doubt she had such an easy life as some comments make it out to be.
She's literally shown to risk her life in rebel activies and having to devote herself to political matters at the age of 14, she was still basically a child at that time. So, calling her a "spoiled brat" doesn't do her character justice, not by a long shot.
All in all, Leia probably had an easier childhood than Luke but I wouldn't want to change with her, either, lol. I also don't think she had all that much freedom considering her position
What do you think?
