I’ve waited so long for it it feels surreal

I very rarely get excited for anything, but I'm looking forward to it. I'm definitely watching it.

We've waited so long and it's finally here, I'm so pumped! BRING IT ON!

I can barely contain my excitement at this point!! It literally feels like a dream come true!! As soon as I wake up tomorrow morning it’s game on!!!

I'm excited but cautious. I don't want to overexcite myself for a major diasappointment.

I'm pretty excited - the prequels have always been my favorite part of Star Wars, and Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christiansen are a huge part of why. But I'm also really worried that the show is going to play it too safe, and we won't see anything that we couldn't have already guessed or thought of ourselves. That seems to be the modus operandi with Star Wars these days. It's been nothing but (admittedly high-quality) fanservice and nostalgia trips for the last few years. And Deborah Chow, Hayden, and Ewan have all made comments about doing it "for the fans" an uncomfortable amount of times in the pre-release interviews - which feels like code for "playing it safe so we don't anger anyone." So I'm guardedly excited. We'll see.

I'm sure it will be good content, but I'm concerned about retconning
