It depends the method of cutting. If it is a plasma based one (like the hacksmith’s one) 4000+ is probably accurate - it depends the power and efficiency. But for a true ‘laser sword’ there would be virtually no temperature emitted except as a by product of cutting. This would function like a laser cutter - just handheld.

Right
