At this point I've read enough of Legends Quinlan to know that he's an instant click for me especially when you compare him to his canon characterization who's essentially a Star Wars hippy at best lol. Legends Quinlan has endured so much emotional and physically pain and he's danced with the dark side as much as Anakin has tbh. I loved his struggles to regain his memories and despite his anger towards those who do him wrong he still tries to uphold the morals of a jedi. His journey alongside Aayla and Tholme is iconic and they're both his anchors to the light side of the force while he's undercover in Dooku's dark jedi cult. I also love his relationship with Kahleen and how she fell in love with him despite the risks that came with that and Quinlan's struggles with not letting Dooku corrupt him .

The true beauty of their story for me was the fact that they actually get a happy ending! I was so worried for Quinlan when order 66 went into effect and he was barely clinging to life as he was trying to escape Kashyyyk. Poor guy even sensed Aayla's death through the force. But despite all of this there was a light at the end of the tunnel for Quinlan because he survived order 66 and made it home to his new family.

Canon Quinlan, at least as of the Clone Wars, was essentially a hippy with a unique power. I haven’t read any of his comics, but I’ve heard enough about his Clone-Wars-Era escapades and brushes with the Dark Side to know which version is more interesting.

^I highly recommend reading his comic storylines if you ever have the time and willingness to. It’s such a dark and emotional story and yet it has the most beautiful ending. I nearly cried when I got to the image I posted in my first comment.

Also, I guess I like him in both Canon and Legends and my headcanon is a mixture of both.

I am going with Cannon

The fact that it is this close is sad to me lol, but Legends Quinlan by far for reasons I've said in the past to name a few. He isn't a surfer hippie in Legends, he actually uses his power specfic to him effectively, and he actually has an intresting story. So yeah Legends by far.

^Tell me about it. I didn’t think it’d be this close. Let’s face it if more people read legends content the margin between legends and canon Quinlan would be much wider and rightfully so.
