No I mean’t like badges for like posts for example a badge for 1 post or 1,000 posts, or editing a article and certain amount of edits and adding info to your Wookieepedia page. Certain stuff like that was what I mean’t.

Like moderator badges? No, it's unnecessary, most of that stuff really doesn't matter, at least to me

Hm, depends. Achievements are common on Wikis, but also can bring in edit spam which.......isn't so fun to deal with. ^u^||

But considering the high customization of them, they could be very cool here. I don't think they work for the social half (such as discussions), but they are pretty cool if you enjoy editing! :D

I'm against it. In my experience on the Doctor Who wiki (which has had the achievements for over ten years), it caused more trouble than giving any help. In fact, to this day there are still people who make frivolous or downright incorrect edits in trying to win badge points. A few years ago, there was one editor who made nearly a hundred edits, adding and removing the numeral "1" from pages over and over until an admin stopped him.

I don't edit here so maybe my input isn't worth anything, but it seems to me that this wiki is not short on editors who are daily improving the wiki. The achievements/badges are really designed to help increase editing, and I don't think this wiki needs it.

I don’t think that’s a good idea, it differentiates people that are part of the same community by glorifying one more than the other, because they earned some sort of achievement.

That’s not really what this is supposed to be, as this is a discussion forum and not something by the likes of Reddit or Discord.

I say keep it at moderator, Fandom staff and admin badges and that’s it.
