I love both versions! Since it's only AOTC (my favorite live action Anakin was RoTS) maybe TCW version but I really like his portrayal in AOTC. Many people complain about the dialogue but the actors performed really well to me, and I especially loved the little parts where they show Anakin's dark side (looking at you Tusken scene). Overall I'll like any version because he's on my top 5 list 😂

There were both great, but to me, Hayden IS Anakin.

Well, both are awesone. Matt has a way more expanded universe in TCW, yet we have more time with him on the Jedi side. On the other hand, I’d say that Hayden has a masterpiece performance, but seems to me that he was designed to play the dark side in the prequels, that’s why it’s so cool to see another Anakin character being created so we could see more of his Jedi side as well as seeing him go on a lot of missions in the galaxy.

Hayden in AOTC was really cringey

ROTS Hayden was way better

I personally liked Matt Lanter

He was the one who made me become an Anakin Skywalker fan

But I do like Hayden Christensen as well

I voted Matt Lanter, but by no means am I saying Hayden was bad, not at all, I still loved Hayden's performance. I just personally preferred Matt Lanter's version of Anakin better.

What about moments like:

His "fight" with Clovis.

Him interrogating and killing Trench.

His assault towards "Rako Hardeen"

His interrogation of Ventress.

His fight with Barriss.

Both did an equally great job on their portrayals as Anakin.

I prefer Anakin Skywalker in live-action played by Jake Lloyd, David Prowse, Sebastian Shaw and of course Hayden Christensen
