Usually, with these Legends polls, I vote for the one I know about, in this case T'ra Saa.
Hett would be the coolest choice, but also very complicated. Sian jeisel would be the easiest one, to canonize.
^Hett would be easy to canonise. Because of sequels his capture by the Vong and the Legacy period are out. His prequels period do not contradict anyting.
^yeah, but I'm talking bout the legacy period.
Tough choice between K'Kruhk and Ferus Olin. While I like the rivalry between Ferus and Anakin, as helped further draw the latter down the dark path, I really like K'Kruhk. His story before the Phantom Menace, his brief appearance in 2003 Clone Wars cartoon where he was believed to be killed by General Grievous, only to survive and be show throughout the Clone Wars in legends comics. I also like his story about how he not only survives Order 66 but later on joins Luke Skywalker's New Jedi Order and ends up being around to train Skywalker's great, great grandson and lead the Order nearly two hundred years after Order 66 was first issued. Go K'Kruhk!
Sian, a female live action Devaronian would be great to see. I love how different they look from the more devilish looking males
“Ease” of “canonization” aside, my personal choice would be A’Sharad Hett. My reasoning for this is fairly simple, being that his conversion into Star Wars canon would thus lead to the same of Krayt (obviously), the One Sith, and potentially other characters such as Cade Skywalker and the furtherance of the skywalker lineage past what we already have in canon.
While none of this would be direct, what I mean by this is that A’Sharad being canon doesn’t necessarily mean that Krayt and the One Sith will be as well, it would open the door for Star Wars canon to be potentially taken in that direction. Again, the “canonization” of one character does not mean that their entire story and relations to the rest of Star Wars will be as well, they could be taken in a completely different direction that may be entirely contrary to what we know them as. Creative liberty, if you will.
To make a Legends character canon the author of the book or comic/writer of the show or movie doesn’t have to include their entire backstory from Legends. Merely a mention or a small appearance like they’ve done with Siri Tachi, Tru Veld, Soara Antana, and Tyvokka.
Since they've recently recanonized Siri Tachi in Brotherhood and her apprentice was mentioned during a knighting ceremony, it made me think that Ferus Olin might not be far behind. If he's one of the apprentices being knighted in the ceremony, then they've already changed his story in canon. Despite being interlinked with Anakin, Palpatine, Obi-Wan and Leia in Legends, they can still introduce him back into canon with a different storyline or even as a completely new Jedi under Rey's Jedi Order. Either way, he's simply too epic not to be canonized again imo.
It would have been great to see A’sharad in Kenobi.
What do you think?
