Because Humans are the most populated species in the galaxy, and since the beginning of all civilizations. I don’t know what is the percentage, but among the quadrillions of sentient beings, at least 70% of them are Humans. Almost like saying that, for every ten sentient beings, seven are Humans. Of course, I made up all this data, because I honestly don’t know what the statistics are, but that could be used to speculate and explain why Humans are the majority in almost everything, lol.

They basically invented star travel and colonized every planet they could, thus explaining their appearance like, everywhere.

But you do have a point. But in this case I think the main objective was just hnting jedi, and racial segregation was less "important" for Palpatine.

I don’t believe Palpatine is especially xenophobic like most think. Any TRUE Sith isn’t given to dismissing anything or anyone that is a useful tool or servant. Darth Plagueis was a Muun, after all. I believe he saw ALL sentience based on strength and usefulness.

That being said, I believe he is completely apathetic to Imperial and military elite that hate or look down upon “aliens” (talk about irony and subjective terms).

Moreover, the SITH species wasn’t human either (though it never specifies if the dark Jedi that discovered the primitive Sith culture were all humans. That seems very unlikely). Good point though.

Because Vader has to torture his team, and Vader doesn't like aliens. 😂

Regarding the original point, the supposed “irony “ of the empire using alien species for inquisitors when the empire has such disdain for aliens to begin with.

It all depends on your certain point of view.

In a way, it makes total sense that the empire would use more aliens to hunt down Jedi. The empire may not say it out loud, but they view the inquisitors as being expendable. Not as expendable as the canon fodder stormtroopers, mind you, but just “useful” to achieve a means to an end, and if the inquisitors die in the process… who cares? They are aliens anyway.

The empire already knows the job of hunting down Jedi is not an easy task and you can easily die in the process. The more force sensitive aliens you can get to go into the fiery furnace, the better.

The empire hires “dirty beings” (in the minds of the empire) to do dirty jobs.

Did you notice the motley crew of bounty hunters Vader hired to hunt down the Millennium Falcon in ESB? Mostly aliens and a droid. Expendable.

Even Boba Fett himself came from the master template of the “expendable” clone army. So it makes total sense they’d rely on him for a lot of the dirty work.

It is all very consistent from the empire’s perspective.

^^Wouldn't say the bounty hunters were expendable because of their 'otherness'. In fact I would say it was because their skills were so good they were chosen despite their non-humanity. Same with the Inquisitors.

As for the empire's leadership and military being mainly human, I suppose it has its advantages. Namely those concerning standardisation of things such as uniform, architecture, nutrition, etc.

They are outcasts, it's probably easier for them to join the inquisitorious.
