Ok great another name for the clone wars era is the rise of the empire which goes from 1000BBY when Darth Bane destoryes the sith to the battle of Yavin in 0 BBY As for novel/comic recommendations, I recommend the Clone wars comics that look like this, The novel Rise of the Dark lord for Darth vader, I recommend Clone Wars 2003 as it and the comics below follow directly after Attack of the Clones. If your looking for Luke Skywalker I would say the best place to begin for someone new is either Dark Empire comics or maybe Truce At Bakura novel. Jango has a game being bounty hunters I haven't played it personally so I can't say how good or bad it is. If you have anything else im always here 🙂.
^That’s it right there. Those comics changed my whole outlook on the characters I mentioned! I almost cried at the beauty of their character development and how much Dave Filoni watered down their characters in clone wars ☹️. I love Clone Wars but geez there are some characters that just didn’t get their due treatment.
Thank you all for the recommendations!
Mine's just a small handful of Lego SW books.
Wait, I have one more question. I want to start reading from the clone wars saga so where do I start reading? Do I read from the Legends version of Attack Of The Clones?
Um if you mean the Attack of the clones novelization I don't think you have to read it as im not sure if it changes much or adds anything really unlike the ROTS novelization. I think your okay to start the comics above.
Oooooh, those look awesome! Being a huge fan of Clone Wars, I can approve of the 3 I see. XD
Sure enough, those do look very interesting. I always liked those types of books.
As for Clone Wars era novels, I saw some pages for Republic Commando novels if you enjoy that sort of stuff. It kinda focuses a lot on some elite clone troopers, and was even written by someone who was actually in the military. They give a really good perspective, from what I have heard.
Also, my dad and brother love the Darth Plaguies novel a lot. Kinda political, but neat-o. Ahsoka is also a good novel.
I have an unhealthy amount of Star Wars reference books lol
But I love them!
They always were really cool. While I do not own any (aside from a Pokemon one lol), reference books have always been one of my favorite types.
