Revenge of the Sith was released on May 19, 2005 (which was a Thursday too) and grossed $868 million worldwide, which made it at the time the 11th highest-grossing movie in the world (behind Titanic, The Lord of the Rings 3, Harry Potter 1, The Lord of the Rings 2, Shrek 2, The Phantom Menace, Jurassic Park 1, The Lord of the Rings 1, Harry Potter 2 and Finding Nemo). It's now the 75th highest-grossing movie in the world (it would be the 74th if The Lion King had never been re-released)
