One’s interest on particular works must come naturally from within. Environmental stimulations are always welcomed, but each person has their own way and time. Specially when you’re a teenager, in which your mood can just change from day to night and for no reason. One can be born in a house full of Los Angeles Lakers fans, and yet, they might go with Cleveland Cavaliers later. And that’s ok. It’s indeed intriguing, but not unusual.
With all that said, let her go. Besides, every person here will show their recommendations according to their own perspective, and not yours, who knows the situation much better. Moreover, this is not the end of the world, and making a post just for this is, at least to me, frivolous.
