A little disappointing, I was hoping for an essay. I don't generally click on off-site links.

I respect Satine's desire to rebuild mandalore and build a better future from the warfare history of her people but I don't support her methods of pacifism. The entire galaxy is caught up in the clone wars and Satine, who knew that the death watch were gunning for her had no trained warriors in place to defend mandalore. She could've and should've had a trained army on standby just in case of a separatist/terrorists invasion or ahem... the sith decided to have a field day taking over a defenseless mandalore.

Pacifism is fine, if it isn't hypocritical. A pacifist state is impossible.

How did Satine's government enforce the ban on Mandalorian individuals defending themselves, by investing in armor/guns/etc? By using the threat of violence (fines or imprisonment).
