Grown up me days ESB. Child me says ROTJ. I reckon I wore out at least 3 VHSs. I had to keep taping off the telly. I did one so all the ads were cut out. I was well pleased with myself.

Both, they are both absolute masterpieces ANH started star wars and set up everything that happened in the later movies, while ROTJ is to me even better as it leads straight into Legends novels/comics and more. Plus I love ROTJ a lot as its my favorite Star Wars movie.

I'd say that RTOJ was badass cause of the dueling between Vader and Luke, and then Luke gets his butt kicked by Sidious. the ending was awesome, I just wish that John Williams used that one instead of the other for the soundtrack.

I only know of ANH cause of the cantina band and that it was released in the late 1970s and the lightsaber dueling was short cause obi-wan(ben) Kenobi had to die then and there
