I thought the music in the newest of the Dune movies was fantastic.

Close in what way? That it's close in the way that it sounds similar, or that it's close in the way of how good it is?

The latter is completely subjective and opinion based.

So it is only your opinion. Gonna edit it that way since right now it comes across more as a matter of fact than opinion.

I think Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings may have something to say about that.

I think Doctor Who has some killer songs, some of which I feel are on par with Star Wars.

I fully agree with this post. I think they have similar styles at times too - particularly Halo 4 and Halo 5's soundtracks and The Mandalorian and BOBF. Some particular pieces of music even feel like they'd fit with the other franchise.

Both also have a more consistent "feel" than most other franchises' music I've listened to. (I don't know how to describe this) but if your hear a track from SW or Halo, it's rather obvious where it's from. Well, at least from my certain point of view.

I personally prefer Halo's music to SW's (don't hate me, it's just more my style). But I definitely agree both have absolutely incredible soundtracks.

Jurrassic park, lord of the rings, and harry potter are on par with star wars in my opinion
